SEATTLE - Seattle U women's basketball has added Aannah Interrante as a graduate transfer to its 2023 class, Head Coach Skyler Young announced on Thursday.

"I am extremely excited about the addition of Aannah to our roster," said Young. "Aannah brings championship experience on the court and in the classroom. There's no doubt her ability to stretch the floor and defensive grit checks all the boxes of our program's culture of passion, hustle and determination. We can't wait to embrace Aannah with our talented athletes to create a synergistic atmosphere on and off the floor."

Interrante comes to Seattle U after four seasons at Bradley University, where she was a member of the 2020-21 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Tournament Championship team. A recipient of the 2020 MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award, Interrante appeared in 40 games with two starts and helped the Braves to 20-win seasons in her first two years. The Johnsburg, Illinois, native was named to the MVC Academic Honor Roll after all four seasons.

After scoring 1,245 points in three years at Johnsburg High School, Interrante transferred to McHenry High School for her senior season and averaged 19.5 points per game. The 5-9, guard was named to the all-state team two times and earned all-conference honors all four seasons. Over her final two season, Interrante was named the 2017 Northwest Herald Player of the Year and 2016 Kishwaukee River Conference Player of the Year.
