BELLEVUE, Wash. - Seattle U baseball sent their senior class out in style with a 10-run rule win over Abilene Christian, 16-6, in eight innings on Friday. The Redhawks scored 16 runs on 16 hits, highlighted by a pair of bases clearing doubles by seniors Trevor Antonson and Matt Boissoneault

Antonson and Boissoneault combined to go 3-7 with two doubles and nine RBI. Cole Kleckner also had a big game, tying a single game record with five hits. Colin Curry, Hudson Shupe, and Derek Gellos also had multi hit days.

Behind the offense was a two-man performance on the mound with starter Nestor German and Cameron Dayton. German gave up five earned runs while striking out six in his five inning no decision. Dayton would come on to start the 6th, gave up just one run with four strikeouts to be credited with his fourth win of the season.

The Redhawks busted the game open in their final three at bats in the game, scoring a combined 11 runs between the 6th and 8th. It was all capped off when Gellos singled through the infield, scoring Kleckner and triggering the 10-run rule walk-off.

The win moves the Redhawks to 21-29 and to 17-12 in conference play. It also secured their seventh straight conference series win, a Seattle U program record. The win also guaranteed a first-round bye for Seattle U in next week's Western Athletic Conference tournament in Mesa next week.

Now with a sweep possible, the Redhawks turn their attention to tomorrow's game three and regular season finale. First pitch from Bannerwood is set for 9am PT.
