ST. GEORGE, Utah - Seattle U softball dropped a pair of matchups on Friday afternoon, falling 2-10 and 4-12 in a doubleheader at Utah Tech. Both Western Athletic Conference (WAC) contests took place at Karl Brooks Field on the campus of Utah Tech in St. George, Utah.
After the two contests, Seattle U moves to a record of 24-13 and a record of 5-6 in WAC play.
GAME ONE
The Redhawks scored the first two runs of this game in the top half of the second. Sydney Frankenberger opened the scoring with an RBI double that she smoked to left field wall. Kalyn Hill then knocked Frankenberger home with a single that just went over the pitcher's head. .

GAME ONE SCORING SUMMARY
- Second Inning: Sydney Frankenberger doubled to left field, scoring the first run of the game. Kalyn Hill scores Frankenberger on a single up the middle. Utah Tech scored five runs on seven hits.
- Fifth Inning: The Trailblazers scored five runs on seven hits.
The Redhawks got on the board in the fifth thanks to Kalyn Hill's second RBI single of the day. Tai Wilson began the inning with a single up the middle and Jocelynn De La Cruz advanced her to second with a full count walk.

Seattle U brought the score to as close as three after scoring three runs in the top of the sixth. Lily Garcia opened the inning with a single to center field before Olivia Viggiano moved her to third with a single to left field. Garcia scored after Wilson got aboard from an error by the first baseman and Sydney Frankenberger pushed two more across home plate after a full count single to deep left field.
GAME TWO SCORING SUMMARY
- First Inning: Utah Tech scored five runs on four hits.
- Fifth Inning: Kalyn Hill singled up the middle, scoring the Redhawks opening run.
- Sixth Inning: Lily Garcia scored after Tai Wilson reached on an error by the first baseman. Sydney Frankenberger singled to left field and advanced to second on a field error, allowing two runs to score. Utah Tech scored five runs five hits.
