ST. GEORGE, Utah – Seattle U men's basketball ran into a red-hot Utah Tech Trailblazers team Wednesday night in St. George, Utah, falling 93-56 in their final road game of the regular season.

ST. GEORGE, Utah – Seattle U men's basketball ran into a red-hot Utah Tech Trailblazers team Wednesday night in St. George, Utah, falling 93-56 in their final road game of the regular season.

UT (13-17, 5-12 WAC) shot 67 percent from the field and from three in the first half on their way to a 56-30 advantage at the break. The Trailblazers benefited from eight steals and 11 total Redhawk turnovers in the half. UT held a 16-4 advantage in points off turnovers at the break.

The second half did not get much better as Seattle U (19-11, 10-7 WAC) managed just 8-of-32 from the field and were unable to narrow the gap.

Cameron Tyson, Riley Grigsby, Seyi Reiley and Anjaylo Lloyd all finished with nine points.

The Trailblazers were paced by Isaiah Pope's 22 points. Tanner Christiansen added 19 and Cameron Gooden had 17.

The regular season of Western Athletic Conference play concludes at the Redahwk Center on Friday, March 3 with a 7 p.m. tip against UT Arlington. Seattle U seniors Riley Grigsby and Emeka Udenyi will be honored prior to tip-off.
