Series History:

This will be the first meeting all-time between the Redhawks and Bearkats. Sam Houston joined the Western Athletic Conference last season, but due to the division alignment in 2022, the two teams did not face each other.

Quick Hits:


- Peter Chronowski has been lights out through three starts this season. He has posted a 0.96 ERA while only allowing two earned runs through 18.2 innings.
- Freshman Hudson Shupe extended his hitting streak to start the season when he hit a single in the 6th inning vs Washington State. He has now recorded a hit in all 10 games this season.
