Swim Earns Eight CSCAA All-Academic Awards and Fall Scholar All Academic Team Honors

SEATTLE, Wash. - Eight of Seattle University men's and women's swim athletes have been rewarded with 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Awards, the association released Tuesday.

SEATTLE, Wash. - Eight of Seattle University men's and women's swim athletes have been rewarded with 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Awards, the association released Tuesday.

To be nominated, a student athlete must carry a cumulative 3.50 grade point average, participate in at least 50 percent of competitions, and have completed one full calendar year at their current institution.
The following athletes have received Academic All-District Honors: Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid March.

Additionally, both men's and women's teams have been selected for CSCAA Fall Scholar All America Team awards. The men's team was able to achieve this feat by obtaining a 3.51 team cumulative GPA in the fall, while the women averaged a 3.42.
