FRESNO, Calif. – Seattle U softball four game win streak was snapped on Sunday, falling to Iowa State, 0-6. The nonconference contest took place at the Margie Wright Diamond in Fresno, California.
After the final contest of the day, senior Stefanie Madrigal, junior Sydney Frankenberger and sophomore Grace Luderer received All-Tournament honors.
Madrigal went 2-0 with a 0.51 ERA over two starts, striking out six and picking up the save against Fresno State on Friday night.
Frankenberger was one of SU's top hitters over the three days, logging an average of .455 with five hits and two walks that included a game winning walk off double against Iowa State on Saturday.
Luderer also went 2-0 in two starts, posting a 3.50 ERA with 11 strikeouts over 12.1 innings.
