Redhawks Conclude Play at Wyoming World Match Play

PALM DESERT, CALIF. - Seattle U men's golf concluded play at the Wyoming Desert Match Play on Saturday, taking fifth place out of eight teams. The two-day event took place at the Classic Club on the 7,305 yards course with a par of 72.

PALM DESERT, CALIF. - Seattle U men's golf concluded play at the Wyoming Desert Match Play on Saturday, taking fifth place out of eight teams. The two-day event took place at the Classic Club on the 7,305 yards course with a par of 72. 

#2 San Diego took home the team title, defeating #1 Colorado by a score of 3-2-1 in the final on Saturday. 

The Redhawks dropped their first matchup against the hosts Wyoming, before sweeping South Dakota State to advance to the fifth place match. Seattle U claimed fifth place after defeating Wichita State by a scoreline of 4-1-1. Five Redhawks concluded the weekend winning two of their three matchups over the two days. 

Seattle U will return to action in March, heading to the Bandon Dunes Championships in Bandon, Oregon, from March 12-14.
