EUGENE, Ore. - Seattle U men's tennis concluded their weekend trip to Eugene, Oregon on Sunday against Oregon at the Student Tennis Center, located on the University of Oregon's campus. The Ducks got off to a fast start and didn't look back, winning 4-0 in a shortened match on their homecourt.
Oregon started off by claiming the doubles point. Julian Worn and Michael Frank paired to take on Jesper Klov-Nilsson and Luke Vandecasteele (3-6), while Filip Stipic and Yu-Han Hsieh teamed up against Ray Lo and Ivailo Keremedchiev (1-6). The final doubles match went unfinished as Oregon already secured the doubles point.
In singles play, Veselin Kiselkov (1-6, 3-6) faced off against Vlad Breazu, while Stipic (3-6, 2-6) battled against Vandecasteele and Frank (0-6, 2-6) fell to opponent Klov-Nilsson. The remaining matches went unfinished as the Ducks already clinched victory.
The Redhawks will be back in action February 18 to take on George Fox in Newbery, Oregon. The match will take place at 1:00 PM PST at George Fox's Multi-Use Facility.
