SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle U track and field return back to action at the Dempsey Indoor Center, on the University of Washington's campus, for the UW Invitational. The meet will be held on January 27-28, with events starting at 3:00 PM PST on Friday, and 9:30 AM on Saturday.

The Redhawks return after a very succesful outing two weeks ago at the UW Preview. The day was highlighted by Miguel Rosario III, who set the school record in both the prelims and finals of the 60 Meter Dash, finishing in 6.90 seconds in the prelims, and 6.84 seconds in the finals.
In the triple jump, Bryana Rogers moved to second all time in SU history with a jump of 11.64 meters, and her teammate Shannon Shadler would crack the top-10 list with a jump of 10.49 meters for tenth all-time.
Newcomers Zoe Tibbo and Livii Fetterley would make the top-10 list in thier first meet for SU. Tibbo is now eight all-time in the long jump with a jump of 4.96 meters, and Fetterley is now ninth all time in the shot put, throwing a mark of 10.40 meters.
For the distance team, Alex Franklin, Gus Harquail, and Emily Harris all made the top-10 list in the 3k. Franklin would clock in a time of 8:27, which was good for seventh in school history, and Harquail would finish the race in 8:22, which was good for fifth all time in school history. Harris finished the 3k in 10:13, which was good for ninth all-time in SU history.
