DENVER, Colo. - Seattle U men's golf seniors Nathan Cogswell has been named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men's Golfers of the Week, for the week of March 30 through April 5, the WAC announced on Wednesday.
The Kent, Washington, native earned second place in a field of 116 golfers, tying his season best overall finish, with a one-under 70. Cogswell tied for first in par three scoring (2.50) and tied for third in made birdies (4). He earns his third WAC weekly award of the year and fifth career WAC weekly or monthly honor. This also marks the seniors third top-five finish of the season.
The Redhawks will compete in one more tournament before the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational in El Macero, California, from Apr. 20-22.
