SEATTLE – The Seattle U Redhawks have announced their schedule for the 2022 season, with first pitch only a couple of weeks away. The Redhawks will host 21 home games and 30 games against Western Athletic Conference foes.
The Redhawks will open the season on a road trip to California and Texas with series against UC San Diego on February 18-20 and UTSA on February 25-27. They will then ring in March with a pair of games at Pac-12 opponents vs Oregon State on March 1 and at Husky Ballpark vs Washington on March 8 before getting their first taste of conference play against New Mexico State.
Seattle U will make its much-anticipated return home to Bannerwood Park as it hosts a one-game showdown with Washington State on March 15 with the first WAC home series against Sacramento State following.
"We got hit late with some cancellations," said head coach Donny Harrel. "Our schedule still prepares us greatly for conference with tough road series and good Pac-12 opponents mixed in throughout the year."
The Redhawks in all will host 20 games at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, with an extra home game also scheduled at Funko Field in Everett for a rematch with the Cougars on April 20. The Huskies will make an appearance at Bannerwood on April 26 in the final home matchup with a Pac-12 team.
The 2022 regular season will end with a trip down to Phoenix on May 19-21 for a three-game series against Grand Canyon with the WAC Tournament just a couple of days after in nearby Mesa.
