Seattle U travels to Spokane, Washington, on Friday for its sole meet outside of Seattle this season to compete in the Washington State Indoor Open & Invite at The Podium.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Seattle U track and field will compete in its sole meet outside of Seattle on Friday as it takes part in the Washington State Indoor Open & Invite at The Podium in Spokane, Wash.

Field events are scheduled to get under way at 9 a.m. with the men's high jump and women's weight throw, while the running events being at 11:06 a.m. with the men's 60m hurdles, prelims. The day concludes with the men's distance medley relay at 8:45 p.m.

The men's field consists of Alaska Anchorage, Arizona, Cal St. Fullerton, California, Central Washington, Colorado, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Idaho State, Lewis-Clark, Montana, Montana State, Northwest Nazarene, Sacramento State, Saint Martin's, Santa Clara, UC Riverside, Washington State, Western Oregon, Western Washington, Whitworth.

On the women's side, Alaska Anchorage, Arizona, Cal Poly, Cal St. Fullerton, California, Central Washington, Colorado, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Idaho, Idaho State, Lewis-Clark, Montana, Montana State, Northwest Nazarene, Oregon State, Sacramento State, Saint Martin's, Santa Clara, UC Riverside, Utah, Washington State, Western Oregon, Western Washington, Whitworth.

Last Friday, junior Lucas Milne set a new school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.64. The previous record, held by d'Andre Benjamin, was Seattle U's best for 14 years until Milne beat it by .11. Overall the Redhawks set another 12 new top ten marks and posted 18 personal bests (PRs) at their last meet, the UW Invitational.
