THREE REDHAWKS MAKE ALL-WAC SELECTIONS

Akili Kasim and Peter Kingston were named First Team All-WAC in the conferences postseason awards, while Yeider Zuluaga was named to the All-Freshman Team.

Kasim, a senior goalkeeper from Seattle, makes it back-to-back seasons as a First Team member and makes his third overall All-WAC team. He was second in the league in saves (65) and 4th in goals against average (1.69). He also became the all-time leader in wins and shutouts for a Seattle U goalkeeper this season.

Kingston is making his first ever All-WAC Team. The junior from Kirkland, WA, appeared in 12 games for the Redhawks, starting in 11. He recorded two goals and two assists this season, with both goals coming in a win vs conference leader Air Force.

Bursting onto the scene in 2022 was freshman Zuluaga. The midfielder from Kent, WA, started in all nine of his appearances this season. It didn't take him long to get on the score sheet either, netting his first career goal in only his second start. He finished the regular season with two goals and an assist.
