Seattle U women's soccer has place two on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams. Midfielder U'i Kaaihue and defender Michele Adam were both named to the Third Team All-Pacific Region.
Kaaihue, a freshman from Maui, HI, burst onto the scene in her first season with the Redhawk program. She played in 15 games this season, starting in seven. Recorded her first colligate goal vs Evergreen State on 9/11, before going on to score six more goals and add in three assists. Kaaihue was named the Freshman of the Year in the Western Athletic Conference, and was also named First Team All-WAC.
Adam is making her second appearance on the All-Region Team, she was named Second Team back in the 2020 season. A senior from Morgan Hill, Calif., Adam was a key member of on of the best defenses in the WAC this season. She appeared in and started 17 games this season, eight of which were shutouts for the Redhawks. She tallied an assist in a 5-0 win over UTRGV on 10/15. Adam joined Kaaihue on First Team All-WAC at the end of the season.
Kaaihue and Adam joined nine other representatives of the WAC in this years All-Pacific Team.
