San Diego, Calif. – Seattle U women's basketball took part in its lone matchup of the week on Friday, falling to San Diego State by a score line of 36-70. The road matchup took place at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California.

The Aztecs came out of the gates quickly, scoring the first six points of the game. They would never slow down offensively, finishing the afternoon with 50 points in the paint and 41 points off turnovers on 48% from the field. Yummy Morris was the Aztec's leading scorer with 19 points, while Kim Villalobos chipped in 14. 

11 Redhawks registered points on the afternoon, with junior Peyton Howard leading the team in scoring and rebounds with six. Sophomore Taliyah Clark recorded two blocks, tying her career-high. 

The Redhawks will return to Seattle for one before hitting the road again, crossing Montlake to take on Washington on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
