Women's Soccer Places Three on Academic All-District

Three Redhawks have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Michele Adam, Jessica Berlin and Kait Raffensperger were all honored after showing excellence on and off the pitch.

Three Redhawks have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Michele Adam, Jessica Berlin and Kait Raffensperger were all honored after showing excellence on and off the pitch. 

Adam, a senior defender from Morgan Hill, CA, is majoring in management. She is coming off of a season that saw her start all 17 of her appearances for a vaunted Seattle U defense. Adam also picked up an assist to go along with helping the Redhawks secure eight shutout victories. 

A goalkeeper from Burke, VA, Berlin wrapped up her senior year in style. Not only did she start 16 goals in net for the Redhawks, she also picked up 8 shutouts and had a goal against average of just 0.8. She is securing her MBA in her final year with the program. 

Raffensperger, a defender from Redmond, WA, finished her sophomore season this year, starting in 17 of her 18 appearances. Another key member of the defense, she logged over 1,500 miniutes on the pitch for the Redhawks. Raffensperger is a biology major. 

The 2022 Academic All-District women's soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The 2022 Academic All-District Teams, which are selected by College Sports Communicators, honors the nation's top student-atheletes for thier performance in the classroom and on the field of play. The committe honors outstadning athletes in all four divisions - NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA.
