SEATTLE - Seattle U women's soccer dropped their WAC/101 Cup matchup with the Washington Huskies, 1-5, Sunday night in Seattle. 

The Redhawks were able to level the match early on in the second half after trailing after the first 45. Following a shot the bounced off the crossbar in the 62nd minute, Brooke Wilson was able to redirect the ball back on frame and into the net to tie the match. It was Wilson's 4th goal of the season. 

Washington would get the lead back six minutes later and would continue to build their lead to four over the next 10 minutes. 

Seattle U had a chance to pull closer when they were awarded a penalty kick in the 77'. The attempt from Emily Bunnell at the spot was saved by the Washington keeper as they would go pn to secure the victory, 5-1. 

With the loss the Redhawks drop to 2-3-1 on the season. They will now turn their attention to the Portland Pilots, traveling south for the matchup on Thursday, Sep. 8. The Redhawks and Pilots are scheduled for a 7:00 PM PT kickoff with the game being streamed live on the WCC Network.
