NEWBERG, Ore. - Seattle U men's tennis will travel to Newberg, Ore., tomorrow to open its 2022-23 season at the PNW Invitational, hosted by George Fox. The event is scheduled to be held from September 23-25 at the Multi-Use Facility.
The singles matches on Friday and Saturday will feature newcomers Dario Ristovski and Yu-Han Hsieh, as well as sophomores Oliver Hall, Michael Frank, Filip Stipic, Veselin Kiselkov and Jayden Harrison. Doubles matches will consist of Worn/Hamel, Stipic/Ristovski, Kiselkov/Han Hseih, and Hall/Harrison.
The Redhawks will welcome Dario Ristovski in his first tournament representing Seattle U. Ristovski is a sophomore transfer from Bellevue College, where he posted an overall 5-1 record in his freshman season. Ristovski hails from Everett, Washington and went to Glacier Peak High School before attending Bellevue College.
Also playing for the first time for the Redhawks is Yu-Han Hsieh. Han Hsieh is a freshman from Tainan, Taiwan. His resume includes a doubles tournament win at the 2019 J4 Nairobi in Kenya and appearances at the 2020 Junior Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and 2018 ITF World Junior Asia Oceania qualifying event.
