DENVER - After helping lead the Redhawks to a win over No. 4 Notre Dame, Delcan McGlynn has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
Not only did McGlynn score two goals, including the game winner, on Thursday vs the Fighting Irish, but he also moved into 1st place all-time for the Redhawks in points scored during their modern Division I era. His second goal in the game also moved him into 2nd place in goals scored all-time in program history.
The awards did not stop at the conference level, as he was also named to the College Soccer News Men's National Team of the Week.
McGlynn and the Redhawks are back in action on Friday, Sep.2, when they play at Louisville starting at 4:30 pm PT. Seattle U will be back home at Championship Field on Sep. 25 when they host Loyola Marymount.
