DENVER - Seattle University women's soccer midfielder Emily Bunnell has been selected to the 2022 Preseason All-WAC Team. The WAC unveiled preseason polls as well as the Preseason All-WAC Team on Thursday.
A grad student from Cottage Grove, Minn., Bunnell enters her third season with the Redhawks. She was selected Second Team All-WAC following the 2021 spring season and was Academic All-WAC in the fall. This is her first Preseason All-WAC selection.
Following a 7-8-4 campaign in 2021, the Redhawks were picked sixth in the 2022 Preseason Coaches's Poll with 72 points.
The Redhawks are back in action tomorrow, Aug. 12 when they play their final exhibition game of the season in a matchup with Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore. They make their return to Championship Field on Aug. 18 for the regular season opener vs Air Force.
