ST. GEORGE, Utah – It was an historic day in the regular season finale as the Seattle U Redhawks beat Dixie State 8-0 in six innings on the road. Carley Nance tied Seattle U's all-time Division I record for wins, throwing five shutout innings for win number 48, while Olivia Viggiano tied the all-time triples record with her 11th.
The win puts Seattle U at 29-22 overall and 15-9 in WAC play heading into the WAC Tournament, good for second in the West Division. The 15 WAC wins match the Seattle U program record, set in 2019.
Seattle U relied on a strong top of the order, as the 1-2-3 batters of Viggiano, Tai Wilson, and Madison Kahwaty going a combined 7-for-12 with four runs scored. Kalyn Hill and Lily Garcia each had doubles and two RBI as the Redhawks knocked five extra-base hits in six innings.

- First Inning: The Redhawks faced a full count with two outs before rattling off three straight hits, starting with a two-run double by Hill. Seattle U would score four runs before Dixie State even came to the plate, its second straight day scoring 3+ runs in the first inning.
- Third Inning: Garcia picked up her second RBI on a double to left, making it 5-0.
- Sixth Inning: Wilson sent one to the left-center gap for a double and another run, pushing it to a 6-0 game. A single right back up the middle by Kahwaty scored two more runs.
- Wilson (2x4, 2 R, 2B, RBI) extended her hitting streak to six games, her second hit streak of six games this season.
- Viggiano (3x4, R, 3B) matched the all-time Seattle U triples record with the 11th of her career.
- Hill (1x4, R, 2B, 2 RBI) has nine RBI in the last seven games.
- Nance (5.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K) has a 20.1 IP WAC shutout streak and has allowed just two earned runs in 40 WAC innings this year.
- Kahwaty (2x4, R, 2 RBI) hit .400 with five RBI this weekend.
