HUNTSVILLE, Texas – The Seattle U Redhawks kept up their WAC Tournament run with a 3-1 win over Abilene Christian. Carley Nance was key, giving up just one unearned run and driving in one of her own at the plate.

The Redhawks struck early once again, scoring just four batters into the game. It was the fourth time in the last five games that Seattle U has scored in the first inning.

Lily Garcia also drove in a run with a triple to rightfield, then scored the game's final run soon thereafter. She was just a part of the balanced attack: each of Seattle U's 3-4-5-6 hitters had a hit in the game, with Garcia, Madison Kahwaty, and Kalyn Hill scoring runs.

While Nance's 26-inning scoreless streak came to a close, she pushed her streak without an earned run to 29.1 innings. She gave up just two hits in the game, striking out six in the win. Nance would retire the final ten batters in a row.
