SEATTLE - The Redhawks will head across town to take on the Washington Huskies this week in their crosstown rivalry. The Redhawks last played at Husky Softball Stadium during the 2021 NCAA Regionals, where Seattle U beat Portland State but fell to Michigan and Washington. This will be the final non-conference game for the Redhawks, who will host their final home games of the 2022 season this weekend against Utah Valley.

MORE LIKE GRACE LUD-NO-ER
Grace Luderer's hot streak continue at California Baptist as the freshman gave up just one earned run over two complete games. Luderer has a 2.71 ERA over her last six starts, all against WAC opponents, with complete games in all six of those. She has struck out at least five batters in each of those games and needs just nine more strikeouts to be the fourth pitcher in the WAC with 100 strikeouts. The Redhawks have never had a true freshman strike out 100 in a season: Carley Nance struck out a program-record 123 as a redshirt freshman in 2018.

RETURN TO THE WAC
Carley Nance threw another complete game last weekend, going a career-best ten innings in the win at California Baptist. Nance has made three starts in WAC play: she has allowed just two total earned runs in that time across 23 innings. Since the beginning of the 2020 season, only one WAC opponent has scored more than three runs against Nance: New Mexico State scored four on May 15, 2021.

OL OF THE HITS
Olivia Viggiano is moving up the all-time hits list for the Redhawks. Viggiano now has 181 hits, putting her just four behind Megan MacIsaac and Bubba Morrow for eighth in program history. Viggiano's next hit will be her 50th this season, giving her three 50+ hit seasons in her career. She would be the seventh player in the WAC with 50 hits this season.

WHAM BAM THANK YOU KAM
Kamryn Coleman has now set new career highs in every offensive category except triples this season after hitting her first career home run at California Baptist. Coleman hit .444 in her return from injury in the CBU series, including a 3-for-3 game to end the weekend that matched her single-game career high for hits. Coleman had seven career hits entering this season: she has exceeded that total in her last seven games, with three multi-hit games in that time and two three-hit games.

PITCHING: IT'S FUN!
The Redhawks now have three different pitchers with ERAs under 3.50 after Grace Luderer lowered hers to 3.49 at California Baptist. Stefanie Madrigal (2.25) leads the WAC in ERA, with Carley Nance (2.50) fifth and Luderer 13th. CBU and Grand Canyon are the only other WAC teams with three pitchers with ERAs under 5.00. No other WAC team has two pitchers with ERAs of 2.50 or lower.
