DENVER, Colo. - Seattle U women's tennis freshman Liliya Dimova and Elena Kraleva have been named to the All-Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Doubles Second Team, the conference announced on Wednesday.

"Elena and Liliya have shown great commitment and dedication in their doubles matches all season," said Head Coach Kristina Hollander. "They have worked great together and have earned this recognition from the WAC. I am looking forward to more of their great matches ahead."

The pairing had an overall record of 5-1 and went a perfect 4-0 in their four WAC matchups. The Bulgarian duo started the WAC season defeating fellow All-WAC Second Team members, Autum Prudhomme and Fabienne Schmidt of Grand Canyon, and followed that up with a tiebreaker point victory over Chicago State's Katarina Dukic and Kristina Pukhaeva. The pairing would continue their streak, dominating against Dixie State's Juliana Honcazaruk and Rachel Mellor, and concluded the regular season with another victory via tiebreaker point against New Mexico State's Chloe Gavino and Mingfang Zhu.

Seattle U will open postseason play on Friday in the quarterfinals against UTRGV at 1 p.m. pacific time in Beaumont, Texas.
