SEATTLE – Registration is now open for the Seattle U Dance Team and Seattle U Drumline 2022-2023 season!
DANCE TEAM AUDITION INFORMATION:
This year we will be hosting in-person auditions with a virtual option for those who are unable to make auditions due to timing or location. Register for auditions here.
The video audition submission deadline is April 22, 2022 at 10:00 PM PT. Please note that the virtual audition materials will be released in two parts, and both parts will be due Friday, April 22 at 10:00 PM PT. Any partial submissions, incorrectly formatted submissions, and/or submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.
In-person auditions will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 23 and 24 in the Redhawk Center South Court. Check in and warmup time will begin at 8 AM both Saturday and Sunday morning, with auditions formally starting at 9 AM. Individuals selected to move on to day two of auditions, will be asked to stay after the end of day one to learn a piece of hip hop choreography that will be performed on Sunday, April 24.
Audition materials – consisting of an audition rundown, technique combinations, a jazz combination, a sideline combination, and a set of interview questions – will be posted on April 15, 2022 in a public folder. If you are submitting a virtual audition, there will be specific instructions on how to submit a video audition.

What to bring:
• $20 audition fee* – CHECK, VENMO or CASH ONLY. Make checks payable to Seattle University with "Dance Team" in the memo line.

• Snacks/lunch
*This audition fee would go directly to the team's budget and if you are chosen to be part of the team, is counted towards your personal fundraising goal.
Should you be selected to be a part of the Seattle University Dance Team, please anticipate a tentative summer program to learn choreography and to get to know your fellow teammates!
