OREM, Utah – An offensive explosion saw the Seattle U Redhawks win 16-7 over Utah Valley to take the series. The Redhawks set new single-game program records with 16 runs scored and 25 hits, eight more than the previous program record, set in 2017.
The Redhawks clinched their 14th consecutive WAC series win, adding to their program record. Seattle U is 18-14 on the year and 4-2 in WAC play thus far.
Tai Wilson had a four-hit day, the first of her career and the eighth four-hit game in Seattle U history. She was one of eight Redhawks with multiple hits on the day and one of seven with at least three hits.
Brooke Milder set a new career high with four RBI, going 3-for-4 on the day. Kamryn Coleman and Hannah Sasaki both had career-high three-hit days. Olivia Viggiano, Kalyn Hill, and Carley Nance all had three-hit days as well, with Nance homering for the third straight game. Viggiano, Wilson, Madison Kahwaty, and Nance all scored three runs each as the 1-2-3-4 hitters went 12-for-21 with 12 runs scored and seven RBI.

- Third Inning: Three straight extra-base hits, from Wilson, Kahwaty, and Nance, create an early rally. Seattle U would score five times in the inning, putting four straight batters on to start the frame and recording four extra-base hits. Utah Valley responded with four runs of its own, making it 5-4 after the big inning.
- Fourth Inning: Nance ripped a two-run homer in the fourth, making it back-to-back innings with RBI hits for the graduate student and pushing Seattle U's lead to 7-4.
- Fifth Inning: Four straight Redhawks reached safely with two outs as the Redhawks stretched the lead to 9-4. Utah Valley answered again, scoring twice to make it 9-6 before Stefanie Madrigal got a bases-loaded K to end the inning.
- Sixth Inning: Hill's two-run single with two outs brought two more runs in, making it 11-6.
- Seventh Inning: The offense kept rolling, scoring five more runs in the seventh and batting around for the second time in the game. Utah Valley would score one in the bottom half for a final margin of 16-7.
- The Redhawks scored 12 runs in the third inning across this weekend's three-game series.
- Nance (3x4, 3 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI) became the eighth Redhawk ever to reach 100 career RBI.
- Viggiano (3x6, 3 R, RBI) hit .500 this weekend.
- Viggiano moved into a tied with Katie Antich for fifth in Seattle U history in runs scored.
- Coleman (3x4, 2 R, 2B, RBI) is hitting .400 over her last five games.
