SEATTLE - Seattle U baseball picked up a run in the first but held scroleess in the next eight, falling to Dixie State, 1-9, Saturday afternoon at Bannerwood Park.

The Redhawks were able to jump to a quick lead in the bottom of the first when Matt Boissoneault hit a single to left field that drove in Shane Jamison. That rbi gave Boissoneault four between games one and two of the series.

Seattle U was able to hold onto the advantage until the fourth inning when Dixie State put three up on the board. They followed that up with one run in the fifth and another six in the sixth inning.

Despite the quick start, the Redhawks were not able to get the bats going in the final eight innings of action as they fell to the Trailblazers, 1-9. The loss dropped SU to 7-13 on the season and 5-3 in conference play.

The series win will be on the line tomorrow, March 26 in game three. First pitch between the Redhawks and Trailblazers is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
