SAN ANTONIO – Seattle U baseball is held off the scoreboard Saturday, as they fall to UTSA, 0-11. Redhawks can only manage four hits in the loss.
UTSA (5-1) was able to build up a three-run lead after the first two innings of the game. A seventh inning explosion of six runs put the game out of hand.
Getting the start on the mound for the Redhawks (1-6) was Brady Liddle. The righty went five innings while giving up five hits and three earned runs.
Matt Boissoneault was the standout offensively for SU, getting on base three times including picking up two of the Redhakws four hits. Derek Gellos and Colin Curry were the only other players to reach on hits.
The Redhawks will look to pick up a win in tomorrow, Feb 27 in the series finale. First pitch from San Antonio is scheduled for 10 AM PT.
