LEWISTON, Idaho - Seattle U men's tennis continues the 2022 dual season this weekend with three matches, spanning from Friday, February 11, to Sunday, February 13.
The Redhawks start the weekend Friday with a 6 p.m. matchup against Lewis-Clark State and get back to it early Saturday against Idaho with doubles play getting underway at 11 a.m. Both matches will be played at the LCSC Tennis Courts in Lewiston, Idaho.
They conclude the weekend with a short trip to Cheney, Washington, to take on Eastern Washington at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse, starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
There will be live streaming of Seattle U's match against Lewis-Clark State but there will be no live streaming or stats for the matches against Idaho and Eastern Washington.
Last weekend, freshman Filip Stipic and Veselin Kiselkov earned singles and doubles victories against North Dakota. They started the match as a pair and defeated North Dakota's Edmond Aynedjian and Cian McDonnell, 6-3. In singles play, Stipic (6-4, 6-2) dominated in his match against Aynedjian, earning his fifth singles victory of the year, while Kiselkov (2-6, 6-4, 6-2) completed the three set comeback victory over McDonnell on court three.
