DENVER, Colo. - Seattle U men's golf seniors Nathan Cogswell and Jack Rahon have been named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Co-Men's Golfers of the Week, for the week of February 2-8, the WAC announced on Wednesday.
Cogswell (70-75-74) and Rahon (74-72-73) started the spring schedule strong, tying for second with three-round totals of 219.
Rahon led the field in par four scoring, shooting an average of 3.9 and performing four strokes better than the next best golfer. This is the Orange, Calif., native's second WAC weekly award of the year and third of his career.
Cogswell was consistent throughout the tournament, making 12 birdie puts over the two-day event. This is the Kent, Wash., native's second WAC weekly award of the year and fourth career WAC weekly or monthly honor.
The Redhawks next scheduled event takes them to Palm Desert, Calif., for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club from March 2-4.
