SEATTLE - Seattle U returns home this week with two home games after completing four games in eight days over the last week. The Redhawks will host Grand Canyon and New Mexico State this week. Seattle U has not hosted either team since the 2019-20 season, when the Redhawks beat New Mexico State at home but fell to Grand Canyon at the Redhawk Center. Since joining the WAC, the Redhawks are 7-8 at home against Grand Canyon and New Mexico State.

BREE OFF THE BENCH

Bree Calhoun has now scored at least 14 points in seven of the eight games she has come off the bench this year, with the only outlier a nine-point performance at Stephen F. Austin. Over the last six games since moving to the bench full-time, Calhoun has averaged 16 PPG, a mark that would be third in the WAC over the full season. Calhoun is shooting 49.5% from the field and 36.4% from the arc off the bench, marks that would be 11th and 15th in the WAC over the full season.

OL' RELIABLE

McKenzi Williams' next appearance will be her 100th in a Redhawk uniform. After missing the 2018-19 season with injury,  Williams has missed just seven games, all during the 2019-20 season. She has started 42 of the last 44 games for Seattle U. Williams has played at least 20 minutes in 42 of the 44 games over the last two years as well: the only exceptions are a 16-minute appearance against Northwest in 2020-21 and a 19-minute performance against UTEP this year. She has played 30+ minutes in 24 times since the start of the 2020-21 season.

THE STOCK MARKET

Georgia Kehoe is closing in on 50+ career steals and 50+ career blocks. Kehoe already has 65 career blocks, the fifth-most in Seattle U history. She needs just four more steals to reach 50 career steals as well. Kehoe would be the fourth Redhawk in the Division I era with 50+ blocks and 50+ steals, joining Alexis Montgomery, Kamrica Ary-Turner, and Taelor Ross.

FORCING TURNOVERS

The Redhawks have forced opponents into at least 15 turnovers in three of the last four games, with the only outlier a 14-turnover performance by Stephen F. Austin. 13 times this year the Redhawks have forced at least 15 turnovers, while forcing fewer than ten just once, against California Baptist. Seattle U's 22 forced turnovers the last time out, at Sam Houston, were its second most this season, behind only the 25 forced in the season opener against Northwest.

REBOUND TOWN

The Redhawks had 40+ rebounds in just three of 11 non-conference games. Since the start of conference play, the Redhawks have 40+ rebounds in three of eight games, with just one game of fewer than 30 rebounds. Seven different Redhawks are averaging at least 3 RPG in WAC play, led by Bree Calhoun (5.4 RPG), Courtney Murphy (4.9), and Georgia Kehoe (4.8). Six different Redhawks have increased their RPG in WAC play.

STEALIES

Bree Calhoun is averaging 2.6 steals per game thus far, putting her fourth in the WAC. Calhoun is the only player in the WAC to average over 2.5 SPG in each of the last two seasons after leading the conference with 3.3 SPG. Seattle U has had at least one player in the WAC's top five in steals per game in four of the last five years, with the only outlier 2018-19, when Kamira Sanders was sixth. Only two other current WAC schools have had a player in the top five in steals per game: Utah Valley and New Mexico State each  had a player in the top five in both 2017-18 and 2018-19.
