NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Seattle U Redhawks kept it close but the shooting stroke abandoned them in a 57-76 loss at Stephen F. Austin. The Redhawks had it within single digits in the fourth quarter but couldn't find the final push.

Three-point shooting made the difference in the game, with Stephen F. Austin outscoring Seattle U by 18 from beyond the arc. After a low-scoring, defensive first half, the Redhawk offense opened up in the second, scoring 20 in the third quarter and 16 in the fourth while shooting over 40% from the field.

"We worked to get on the offensive glass and earned some points," said Suzy Barcomb about the Redhawks' 14 offensive rebounds. "At times we disrupted their offense, but they are an incredibly talented team."
