NEW ORLEANS, La - Seattle U men's and women's cross country teams have both been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's All-Academic Teams list, the USTFCCCA announced Thursday.
"I am really proud of both our programs," said Head Coach Kelly Sullivan. "Both our men's and women's team represent themselves and Seattle University positively every year in the classroom."
To qualify, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Seattle U men posted a composite 3.379 GPA, while the women boasted a composite of 3.583.
This is the fourth consecutive year that both teams received the USTFCCCA'S All-Academic award.
