FINISHING STRONG

Over the last three games, Courtney Murphy is 10-for-11 from the field in the second half. She has not missed a shot in five of the six second-half quarters over those three games. Murphy has scored 28 of her 30 points over those three games in the second half. She has scored 13, eight, and seven in the last three second halves.

BARB ON THE BOARDS

Over the last seven games, Barbara Rangel has averaged one rebound every three minutes of playing time. Rangel has at least four rebounds in six of those seven games: she had zero rebounds in four minutes against California Baptist, the only exception. Since starting the year averaging 2.4 RPG in the first seven games, Rangel has three games of four rebounds and three of five in the last seven, despite playing over 20 minutes just once and 15 or more minutes twice.

CAUSING CHAOS

The Redhawks forced 15 turnovers against Utah Valley,  the second straight game they have forced at least 15 turnovers. Seattle U has forced 15+ turnovers in 12 of 17 games this year. Only one opponent all year long, California Baptist, has had fewer than ten turnovers against Seattle U. The Redhawks have had at least seven steals in every game this year, with seven double-digit steal games.

YOU'RE BLOCKED

Seattle U's two highest block totals of the year have come in each of the last two games, with eight against Tarleton State and six against Utah Valley. Seattle U is averaging 4.5 blocks per game in WAC play after averaging 3.1 in non-conference games. Seattle U has also

POWER IN THE PAINT

The Redhawks have scored at least 25 points in the paint in five of six WAC games, scoring 24 paint points against Utah Valley as the only exception. Three times the Redhawks have scored 35+ paint points against WAC competition. Over 50% of Seattle U's points in WAC play have come in the paint thus far, including 58% of ponits in the last three games.

A BLOCK PARTY

Georgia Kehoe moved to fifth in Seattle U history in blocks, passing Alexis Montgomery, and now has 62 blocks in her career. Kehoe had five blocks against Tarleton State, a single-game career high for the Australian. It was the first five-block performance by a Redhawk since 2018, when Kallin Spiller had five at Utah Valley. Kehoe joins Spiller and Taelor Ross as the only Redhawks in Division I history with five or more blocks in a single game. Ross is the only Redhawk to record more, with six blocks at UMKC in 2015.

HOT HAND

Bree Calhoun has scored in double figures in five straight games now, shooting 46% from the field in that time. Calhoun has made multiple three-pointers in four straight games after doing so twice in the season's first 12 games. She has scored 14+ points in four straight games, the second time in her career she has done so. Calhoun has never scored 14+ points in five or more consecutive games.
