SEATTLE – Seattle University men's soccer has announced its incoming class for the 2021 season. The Redhawks have Elijah Beverley, Hugo Ellouk, Tom Fielding, Levonte Johnson, Christian Koontz, Charlie Lanphier, Lucian Lang, Jaden Manetta, Mo Mohamed, Campbell Strong, and Beckham Uderitz joining Coach Pete Fewing's squad this fall.

Beverley is a 6-2 forward out of Sacramento. At the club level, he played for San Juan Soccer for four years. As a member of his Jesuit High team, Beverley was named 2020 First Team United Soccer Coaches Boys High School All-American.

Ellouk is a 6-0 midfielder from Paris, France. He previously played at West Virginia and Omaha.

Fielding, a native of Leicester, England, previously played at Coastal Carolina. The 5-8 midfielder helped the Chanticleers win the Sun Belt title and advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2021. Overseas, Fielding made three appearances for the Leicester U-23 Team while in the U-18 program, playing above his age group.

Johnson is a 5-10 midfielder from Brampton, Ontario. He previously played at Salt Lake Community College and Eastern Florida State College. At SLCC, Johnson earned First Team All-American honors, helping his team win the NJCAA Championship in 2021. He scored a team-high 11 goals this past season.

Koontz is a 5-10 defender from Seattle. He's been a four-year member of Sounders Academy. Koontz was a member of the Sounders' 2017 Generation Adidas Cup championship squad.

Lanphier is a goalkeeper out of Sammamish, Washington. He played with Sounders Academy and Crossfire Premier. Lanphier went to Eastlake High.

Lang is a 6-0 defender from Wheaton, Illinois. He previously played at Wisconsin-Green Bay and Coastal Carolina. Lang was a member of the Coastal Carolina team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2021. He made nine starts as a freshman at Wisconsin-Green Bay. Lang will have two years of eligibility remaining at SU.

Manetta has been a member of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy since 2018. The 6-2 defender is from Burnaby, British Columbia. With the Whitecaps, Manetta helped his team win a pair of British Columbia Provincial championships.

Mohamed is a 5-8 midfielder out of Portland, Oregon. He was a two-time first team all-league selection at Cleveland High, also earning a spot on the All-American Team Select Roster.

Strong is a 5-8 midfielder out of Auckland, New Zealand. He was a member of the U17 National Team that qualified for the 2019 World Cup. Strong helped Sacred Heart College win the 2019 National League title.

Uderitz is a 6-0 midfielder from Snohomish. He's been a member of Sounders Academy, Crossfire Academy and Snohomish United. Uderitz's brother, Hal, is a junior on the Redhawks.

SU advanced to the WAC Tournament semifinals in its spring campaign.
