NEW YORK – Levonte Johnson of Seattle University men's soccer has been invited to the 2021 Adidas Major League Soccer (MLS) Combine, the league announced Wednesday. The sophomore is part of the 44 top college players invited to this event, which will be held from Dec. 10-12 in Cary, North Carolina.

"I am really happy for Levonte," said Head Coach Pete Fewing. "He became better as the season went on and adjusted well to the Div. I level. Levonte has tremendous athleticism and confidence that allows him to take players on without fear. He has a great athlete's mindset and this will be a good opportunity for him to be seen by MLS teams and to get feedback on where he is as a player."

Johnson a forward from Brampton, Ontario,  led Seattle U in goals (9) and assists (8) as well as points (26) in 22 appearances. He was selected on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team, All-WAC Second Team, and WAC All-Tournament Team. He will not be eligible for the draft unless he is tabbed generation adidas.

Representatives from all 28 MLS franchises will be present at the combine. The 2021 MLS SuperDraft will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 11.
