The action begins Wednesday, Dec. 1 with a 7 p.m. tip off against McNeese State (3-4) out of the Southland Conference. QUICK HITS

  • Seattle U won its fifth straight game on Nov. 27, besting St. Thomas, 81-64, at the Redhawk Center.
  • The win gives the Redhawks a five-game win streak for the first time since winning six straight between Nov. 23-Dec. 6, 2018.
  • The 6-1 start to the season is also one of the best in recent history. The last time a Seattle U team started the year 6-1, was 2007-08 when they went 6-0 before dropping consecutive games. In 2018-19, the Redhawks went 6-2 through their first eight games.
  • Five Redhawks reached double figures in the win over St. Thomas marking the fifth time in seven games that four or more players scored double-digit points.
  • Darrion Trammell paced the squad with a season-high 18 points to go along with eight assists. Rip Economou (14), Viktor Rajkovic´ (12), Cameron Tyson (11) and Riley Grigsby (10) also scored in double figures.
  • Emeka Udenyi hauled in a game-high 12 rebounds, his first double-digit effort of the season.
  • As a team, the Redhawks collected 51 rebounds to the Tommies' 26. The 51 boards marks the first time Seattle U has surpassed 50 rebounds since hauling in 61 on Nov. 12, 2017 against Puget Sound.
  • The Redhawks drained 13 three-pointers versus St. Thomas, marking the third time in the last four games that they have knocked down double-digits from deep.

RAJKOVIC´ NAMED WAC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Viktor Rajkovic´ was named TicketSmarter WAC Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week for November 22-28. The freshman forward from Mill Valley, Calif., had a breakout week for the Redhawks and helping lead the squad to three wins. His biggest game came in the week's finale, scoring 12 points to go with five rebounds in an 81-64 win over visiting St. Thomas (Minn.). On the week, he average 8.7 points to go with 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

HEATING UP FROM THREE
Rip Economou has had the hot hand from beyond the arc over the last two games. The junior guard hit a combined 10-of-14 (.714) in the two wins, including a 6-for-8 performance that led to a career-high 20 points on Nov. 23 versus Pacific Lutheran. Economou is now 13-for-22 (.591) from three on the season.

  • The Redhawks rank No. 1 in scoring margin (+15.9) and second in both scoring offense (78.6) and scoring defense (58.7).
  • Seattle U also leads in free throw percentage (78.8), FG% defense (38.2), 3-pt FG% (39.7), 3-pt FGs made (77, 11.0 per game) and assist/turnover ratio (1.3), while ranking second in 3-pt FG% defense (27.6).
