SEATTLE - Seattle U women's golf has signed Aaryanna Morris to its 2022 class, Head Coach Marc Chandonnet announced Wednesday.
"I am beyond excited to add Aaryanna to our team next fall," said Chandonnet. "We are very lucky to have her join the Redhawk family with such a great support system along side her. I knew from the moment I met her that I wanted her to be apart of my team. She has a wonderful disposition, fantastic golf swing and brings an energy that is infectious and positive. I know she will contribute very positively to our culture at Seattle U."
Morris won the 2021 Prescott City Jr. Championships and is a two time winner of the North Coast Junior Tour Championships (2021,2019). She has qualified for the the 2021 IMG Worlds and 2019 girls junior PGA, while also ranking in the top four of Arizona junior golfers in the point standings. Other notable performances include, finishing as the runner up at the 2021 State Junior Championship, 2021 New Year Classic, 2020 Winter Classic and 2020 Phoenix City Junior Championship. A senior at Saint John Paul II High School in Avondale, Arizona, Morris was voted team MVP in her lone year of high school golf after the 2019 season.
