SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Seattle U cross country concluded its season on Friday, competing against the best of the west region's runners at the NCAA West Regionals in Sacramento, California. Ultimately, the men's and women's squad finished in 29th place. The women's 6k and men's 10k was held at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, California.

Leading the way for the women's team was sophomore Emily Harris, while redshirt sophomore Rowan Cuadrado followed behind her and fellow redshirt sophomore Fiona O'Leary finished just one second behind Cuadrado. This was the first regional meet for six Seattle U runners. The Redhawks finish the year with seven runners setting personal bests in the 6k.

On the men's side, freshman Giuliano Scasso finished as the led runner for the fifth time this season, while redshirt junior James Parker finished behind him and freshman Logan Miller rounds out the top-3 finishers for the Redhawks. This was the first collegiate 10k and West Regional race for all of Seattle U's runners. The men's team unfortunately was without four of its top runners in Alex Franklin, Jay Grant, Gus Harquail and Alex Jensen.

Seattle U will look forward to next season as they return a majority of its top runners.
