OREM, Utah – The final match of the regular season saw the Seattle U Redhawks fall 17-25, 11-25, 21-25 to the Utah Valley Wolverines on the road. Three Redhawks tied for the team lead in kills: Sierra Bartley, Julia Queiroz, and Eve Kerschenbaum all had seven kills on the day. Queiroz also had six digs, matching Katlyn Sipes for the team lead.
The Redhawks would lead in every set, including an 8-2 lead in set three after early 3-0 and 4-0 runs. In each set, the Redhawks were undone by Utah Valley's runs, which built late leads in each set that proved insurmountable.
Ezgi Ozkan had nine assist, a team high in the game. Sam Hayward had four kills and four digs in the first set alone en route to her sixth match with five or more kills this season.
Lauren McCabe had three blocks, leading the team and giving her 20 total blocks in the final four matches of the season. Queiroz also had multiple blocks, her 16th match with multiple blocks this year and fourth in a row.
