DENVER – Seattle University men's soccer junior, Declan McGlynn, has been named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Offensive Player of the Week, for the period ending on October 31. McGlynn scored three goals over the weekend as Seattle U earned two victories at home.

The Kirkland, Wash., native scored a great individual effort goal against Houston Baptist on Friday in a 4-0 win. After receiving the ball off a pass from Noe Meza, McGlynn rushed by two Houston Baptist defenders and placed the ball into the bottom right corner. He scored the opening goal in both matches over the weekend.

McGlynn now has 24 career goals as a Redhawk. This is his second WAC weekly honor of the season and fourth of his career.

McGlynn and the Redhawks will host their home finale on November 6 against San Jose State at Championship Field, starting at 7 p.m.
