DENVER – Levonte Johnson, Akili Kasim, Declan McGlynn and Campbell Strong of Seattle U men's soccer are among those honored by the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tuesday as the league unveiled its 2021 postseason awards. Kasim and McGlynn earn spots on the First Team, while Johnson is picked for the Second Team and Strong is apart of the All-Freshman Team.

Kasim has been a crucial member of the Redhawks' defense this season, starting all 19 matches. The Seattle native ranked second in the conference in saves (45) and save percentage (.818) to go along with the fourth highest goals against average (.91) and five shutouts. 

McGlynn is Seattle U's leading goal scorer this season and tied for fourth in the conference with eight goals. The native of Kirkland, Wash., led the WAC in shots and has been named WAC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season. 

Johnson put together seven goals and eight assists in 19 matches, leading Seattle U in points and ranking tied for fourth in the WAC. The Brampton, Ontario, native scored in six different games, as SU went 5-0-1 when he found the back of the net.

Strong started 18 matches for Seattle U this season, posting two assists. The Auckland, New Zealand, native was a strong presence in the midfield as he was apart of five team shutouts and ranked sixth on the team in minutes played.

The Redhawks earned the two seed in this week's WAC Tournament after a victory against San Jose State on Nov. 6. They will face the winner of Air Force and UTRGV in a semifinal matchup on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
