SEATTLE - Seattle U's own Jack Neton was selected as the Western Athletic Conference's representative for this year's NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum. Neton will be the sole representation of Seattle U and the WAC at the conference, working with other athletes and administrators from across the country.

"Jack has been a great leader not just for our team but for Seattle University as well," said Craig Nisgor. "He has been a tremendous ambassador for our university and is really deserving of this award. He will represent the WAC and Seattle U at the highest level, and we are very proud of his selection."

The Student-Athlete Leadership Forum is held each year by the NCAA as a way to enhance leadership skills and help attendees thrive personally, professionally, and athletically. Neton will work in a group with roughly 30 other attendees alongside trained facilitators to build skills and grow as people and leaders.

All training sessions at the forum will be run by facilitators trained by the NCAA to help create an impactful, safe environment, allowing attendees to be vulnerable in their growth.

The forum takes place over four days in Houston, Texas this November.
