This will be the second meet of the year for the Redhawks, who started the year at the Logger Relays. Seattle U took second in that meet, picking up second-place finishes in eight of eighteen events. The women's team finished second and the men's team finished third, with Seattle U taking second overall in the combined scores.

The men's squad last faced off with Grand Canyon in 2019, hosting the Antelopes in a two-day meet. The women also faced Grand Canyon that weekend as well as Loyola Marymount, defeating LMU on each day of the meet but falling to Grand Canyon.

This will be the first chance for Seattle U to hit the pool for individual events. For individual events, the Redhawks have only swam the 1650 Free in competition thus far, with all 16 other events at Logger Relays being relays.

The last individual action for the Redhawks came at the 2021 WAC Championships. Jack Neton and Danika Himes each earned All-WAC honors there in the 200 Breast.
