DENVER, Colo. - Seattle U men's golf senior Nathan Cogswell has been named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Golfer of the Week, for the week of October 7-12, the WAC announced on Wednesday.
The Kent, Wash., native demonstrated his consistency at the Oregon State Beaver Invitational, finishing in a tie for fourth at two-under 211 (70-70-71). Cogswell led the field in birdies made at 14 and tied for second in par five scoring average. His performance helped Seattle U finish as the top WAC program, taking sixth out of 15 teams.
Cogswell and the Redhawks conclude their fall slate with the St. Mary's Invitational in Pebble Beach, Calif., from November 8-10.
