SEATTLE – Seattle University women's basketball has released its schedule for the 2021-22 season. The Redhawks will host 13 home games, highlighted by a visit from Washington in December.

SU tips off the season with an exhibition against Central Washington on Nov. 4. It begins the regular season on Nov. 9, as Northwest visits the Redhawk Center. After a home date with UC San Diego on Nov. 13, the Redhawks hit the road for five games. They will play at Long Beach State (Nov. 18) and Sacramento State (Nov. 20). Seattle U then heads to Las Vegas for a pair of games over Thanksgiving weekend, facing SMU (Nov. 25) and UTEP (Nov. 26). The Redhawks wrap the swing with a game at Boise State on Dec. 2.
 
On Dec. 10, SU welcomes local rival Washington for a home game. It follows with a trip to Big Sky country for games at Montana State (Dec. 16) and Montana (Dec. 18). The Redhawks conclude non-conference action with a game against Western Oregon on Dec. 20 at the Redhawk Center.
 
To open Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play, the Redhawks travel to New Mexico State on Dec. 30 before coming back for the conference home opener with California Baptist on Jan. 2.
 
SU is set to host Chicago State on Jan. 6 before heading east to play at Utah Valley (Jan. 13) and Dixie State (Jan. 15). New WAC members take over the slate in late January, as Abilene Christian and Tarleton State visit the Redhawk Center, while the Redhawks head to Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State to conclude the calendar's first month.
 
On Feb. 3, Grand Canyon comes to the Redhawk Center, followed by NM State. After a trip to UTRGV (Feb. 10 ) and Lamar (Feb. 12), Seattle U takes on UTRGV at home on Feb. 16. The Redhawks play at CBU and then come back for their final homestand in late February, with Utah Valley and DSU coming to the Redhawk Center. On Mar. 5, SU closes the regular season at Chicago State.
 
The 2022 WAC Tournament will be held at The Orleans in Las Vegas from Mar. 9-12.
 
Coach Suzy Barcomb enters her sixth season at Seattle U. She guided SU to another season of double-digit wins in 2020-21, as the Redhawks were able to play their entire 25-game schedule without missing a scheduled game.
