KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Seattle University women's soccer claimed a 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, its 10th such honor in the last 11 years. The Redhawks put together a stellar year in the classroom, notching a 3.43 team grade point average last school year.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2020-21 academic year.
In the spring season, Seattle U won its sixth WAC regular-season title and advanced to its nation's-best eighth straight WAC Tournament Championship game. This fall, the Redhawks are 6-2-1 following non-conference action.
