DENVER, Colo. - Seattle U men's golf senior Jack Rahon has been named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Golfer of the Week, for the week of September 15-21, the WAC announced on Wednesday.
The Orange, Calif., native started off the 2021-22 season hot, as he posted two consecutive scores of 4-under par 68 in the first two rounds of the Husky Invitational. He finished the tournament with a three-round total of 209, which was good enough for fourth place overall. Rahon performed well on the par four and five, posting an average of 3.90 and 4.58, respectively, and finished with the second most made birdies at 15.
Rahon and the Redhawks will be back in action on Monday, September 27, in Fresno, Calif., when they open play at the Nick Watney Invitational, hosted by Fresno State, at the San Joaquin Country Club.
