POCATELLO, Idaho - In their second game of the day, the Seattle Redhawks fell 13-25, 18-25, 13-25 to the UTEP Miners Saturday. Eve Kerschenbaum had her second double-digit kill outing of the season, recording 11 in three sets. Ezgi Ozkan had 11 assists, giving her 25 assists across six sets in the two matches Saturday.
Kerschenbaum, Sierra Bartley, and Sophia Bertotti Metoyer all hit over .250, with Bartley and Bertotti Metoyer leading the way at .286 each. Bertotti Metoyer paced the Redhawks in blocks as well, picking up two.
The Redhawks will stay on the road next week, facing the Montana Grizzlies in Missoula, Montana on Wednesday, September 1. Seattle U will play three more matches next weekend at the Gonzaga Invitational, against Air Force, Gonzaga, and Oklahoma.
